HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Okay, so it's officially 2015. You know what that means....it's time for New Year's Resolutions.
C'mon, let's hear 'em! Tell me how you're going to finally use that Nutribullet you got two Christmas' ago, or try a new restaurant every week.
In all seriousness, the New Year is a great time to start (and continue) taking steps towards achieving our goals because it's a rebirth (a second coming, if you will) and an easy way to track your progress!
One of my many goals this year and every year is to create and maintain a savings plan. Believe it or not, I do not currently have a savings account! And from what I have gathered, this is far too common for my generation, the millenials. Let's get it together people! And let's start with our shopping habits!
In my first episode of Coco's Closet, a Coco's Confidential edition, I outline how you can save money and still stop by thrifting! Whether it grosses you out or get your fashionista senses tingling, you have to admit that thrifting is the most inexpensive form of shopping.
Coco Note: Unless you're into dumpster diving, in which case the above statement does not apply.
@@Now there are rules to thrifting!@@
1. Shop where you know
2. Know what you're looking for
3. Size Ain't Nothin' But A Number!
4. Don't be afraid to buy pieces that need a little love!
6. Dry Clean, Tailor, Wash!
Check out the video and watch as I explain the rules and show you guys what I've found at the thrift store! You'll also learn tips and tricks on How To Thrift Successfully and how you can save money and still shop in 2015!
