When they said beauty is pain, they really weren't lying.
I've been battling the worst toothache for the past few days and it's killing me. Half of my face is swollen, and every word seems to now have an "S" at the end.
Nonetheless, slay we must.
@@Coco Notes: Sundays are for slaying.@@
Oddly enough, the weather yesterday seemed to match my mood, and I always dress for my mood. I was feeling the dark, eery, misty look Mother Nature was serving, so black it was!
Coco Note: When I go black, I go BLACK.
I said it before, I'll say it again. Leather and fur are my two favorite things. Ever. Hence why this look is pretty much covered in it. The trick with textures like leather and fur is to pair them simply, and let the key pieces do all the work.
@@Coco Note: Don't try to prove that you're fabulous, just be it.@@
These leather pants are a staple in my wardrobe. Without them, I am nothing. They look like real leather (they are not.), they fit great and they are incredibly comfortable. And they were $19. Can I get an Amen? I paired the pants with a simple, plain black long-sleeved sweater.
I love layering my fur and leather to make a unique look or piece. I added my leather biker-styled crew neck leather jacket (again, faux) and decided to throw a big, black fur (you already know, FAUX) vest on top of the jacket, thus creating a fur jacket with leather sleeves! Boo-YAH!
@@Coco Note: When it comes to leather and fur, it's good to be fake.@@
Now, I didn't want this toothache to hold me back! So I added a dash of color. These gray and turquoise pumps with snakeskin features have been holding me down for years, and they were only $39.99. Yes GAWD! And a touch of turquoise in the necklace as well, to tie it together.
