There are those days when a thick-slim girl just feels skinny. And when you feel skinny, you feel unstoppable.
@@Coco Note: If you think skinny, you just might become it. Mind over matter.@@
Last night I had the pleasure of attending a D'usse event. I haven't had D'usse since the last time I D'usse'd a little too much *cough* NYE 2012 *cough*, but I do love the brand and the product.
I would never promote leggings as pants, but I was feeling skinny last night, so you'll have to excuse me.
Let's face it, black is both slimming and empowering. This is just a simply pair of black leggings, paired with a black, long-sleeved body suit with sheer cut-outs. The trick with pieces like this is to keep it simple, and keep it balanced. What I mean is, balance the sexy. Since i'm wearing skin-tight clothing with sheer cut-outs, I made sure that the majority of my body was covered with some fabric. From the long-sleeved, sheer though they are, to the long leggings and over-the-knee boots, I'm covered.
I was really feeling like Catwoman, until the Cookie Lyon in me decided that I needed a fur coat to go with this empowerment. In my defense, it was really cold in New York. This gray and black ombre faux fur coat was the perfect piece because it didn't take away from the all-black vibe.
Faux Fur Coat: Chicwish
Leggings: Rainbow (my favorite place for leggings!)
