If we're being quite honest, everyday isn't going to be a complete SlayDay. Thankfully, there is such thing as a Lazy Slay, and it's pretty easy to achieve. Here are the 2 C's to easily achieving lazy slayage:
Cotton and Color.
Here's why cotton and color are the two major keys to lazy slayage.
@@Cotton is literally the GOAT when it comes to fabrics.@@ It is extremely versatile, breathable, works for every season and often doesn't require ironing. Need I say more? @@Color (don't right, of course) is an easy way to take a basic outfit and make it interesting and exciting.@@
This cornflower-blue, cotton shift dress is my favorite dress. It's a super clutch wardrobe piece, in that it can be dressed up or dressed down, so it's my go-to whenever I don't know what to wear, or i'm too lazy to iron something. This dress came in other colors, but I chose this one because although it is blue, it's slightly muted, which makes it appropriate for any season. If you're into dressing for the weather and all that, look for muted tones of primary colors that will work throughout multiple seasons.
Coco Note: Oh yea, and it was only $10. That helped too.
This maxi cardigan, or duster, is also a favorite. It features a blue and baby pink leopard print throughout. What a surprise, a modern twist on a classic print and style! The cotton fabric is super soft and cozy, and the colors are a fun and eye-catching addition to the look.
Coco Note: I love wearing pieces that feature an interesting take on an otherwise boring or common trend. I mean, how often do you see pink and blue leopard print?
