As much as I love black-on-black, it can get pretty monotonous. One easy way to break up the monotony is by adding a neutral, or a print in a similar color. This is a perfect on-the-go, easy but polished look.
In this look, I added a black and gray cape scarf, but in a leopard-print with fringe tassels at the end. The scarf is somewhat of a statement piece, but does not over-complicate the look. Plus, who doesn't love a leopard-print cape? I belted the cape to give myself a waist so I don't look like one black and gray blob.
If you're wondering how to style OTK (that's over-the-knee) boots for Spring, now's a great time to pull out your long. tunic-like tops and sweaters, and those almost-too-short dresses. Under the leopard-print cape, I'm wearing my fuzzy short-sleeved almost-too-short dress with black jeans (can substitute for leggings).
