As a native New Yorker, the thought of going into Times Square is dreadful enough to propel me into hives. There are, however, those rare occasions where I feel like a tourist, captured by the big lights and city streets.
The infamous red stairs are particularly special to me, so I'm [almost] always happy to visit them. Although it is officially Spring, the weather hasn't quite caught up with the times, so I've slowly begun to incorporate Spring elements into my outfits.
This velvet skater dress is extremely flirty and the perfect piece to pair with my favorite boots. The short hem hits me mid-thigh, which leaves just enough skin peeking out.
I love clothing that comes bejeweled or embellished because I don't have the biggest jewelry collection right now. It's like a one-stop shop!
The floral, crystal-like embellishment makes this dress even more feminine, which balances out the dark colors.
I wanted to add some color to this all-black ensemble, but I didn't want the color to overpower the black, or complicate the look. This pastel blue trench coat was the perfect addition. It's the ultimate Spring jacket for this year.
