It’s Gala season!
I had the pleasure of attending the Haitian- Americans United for Progress (HAUP), Inc 39th Annual Anniversary Gala this past weekend, the first of the season!. It was a big deal for me, since I’ve working with the organization for almost 10 years and I was the emcee for last year’s gala!

Last Day of Summer.
Today’s outfit was built around the main focus, this black and white striped midi skirt. While horizontal striped can be tricky (they can make you look wider!), I decided I wanted to play on the pattern and colors of this bodycon skirt. I knew I wanted to go for the same stripe detailing on top, but I didn’t want to overwhelm myself with thick lines. By using a top (it’s actually a dress!) with thinner black stripes and thick white stripes, I made this outfit a little bit easier on the eyes.Read More
