A Fail of Olympic Proportions
The Olympic Games ended this past Sunday, August 21st and you know what else did? Right.
So remember the whole #SlayingIsAHabit thing?
This is me going into the August #21DaysOfCoco #SlayingIsAHabit Challenge.
This is me on Day 12.
I have to be honest with you guys. I got a little ahead of myself on this one. Yes, it's true- slaying is definitely a habit. But you know what else is true? Life happens.
I hate to make excuses, but this month life HAPPENED.
Between transitioning into a new position at work, slaying a photoshoot for Saturday Batch, rearranging my room and closet (AGAIN) and dealing with life.... let's just say Coco took a tumble.
Don't worry, for the most part, these are good things. But you know how it is. Some of you have kids. Most of you work full-time. Maybe you coach a basketball team, sing in a choir or volunteer at a hospital. We're everyday people tackling everyday hurdles, yet sometimes we think we're supermen and women and, well, this happens.....
While this Olympian let a whole country down, I let you guys down. But just like my countryman Jeffrey Julmis, we have to get back in the race.
So yes, Slaying is definitely a habit. Here's to slaying everyday and going for gold in every way, challenge or not.
